Wow, months have gone by… but the site’s still here, and so are we.

Here’s the skinny. We’re a “time donation” kind of project, not unlike inventing some new device in your garage or basement. Recently, the design team here has had a few non-gaming related distractions which are just now reaching their resolution.

Fear not, ’cause we still believe in the design and re now starting work to improve the overall presentation of our core product. This doesn’t mean that for those who’ve already purchased and play the game (thank you!) that you must buy the new stuff to continue. All it means is that we’re trying to make it even easier to understand the core concepts and better define the multiverse where our stories exist.

Hang in there; good stuff is coming.

Due to those meddlesome summertime vacation days, some work that needs to be done, and a group of players suddenly busier than expected, we’re suspending our ongoing campaign for a few weeks, possibly months. We’ll be shooting for something all-new and a player recruitment sometime in August or September. To everyone who played and as far as we got, thanks!

While it’s fun to think that raging barbarians freshly escaped from a Capital One commercial dashed down the streets of Jacksonville, Florida, and crashed through the game store windows of Sanctuary Games & Books and burned it to the ground (save yourselves!), alas its inventory has been sold to War Dogs and the shop itself has closed it’s doors. Emi the Owner (which is fun to say for some odd reason) has voluntarily taken a position as a humble clerk and has been freed of the responsibility to keep the Santuary walls standing.

The real questions are A) where we gonna play our next game, and B) is there going to be a GrailQuest this year (or any other ever again?) Stay tuned for all these answers and to see what the War Dogs will do with their sacked loot.

All right, no more Yoda talk. New year, new stuff, so it was time for a new look for the website. Something that’s always bothered me about the “bright and pretty site” (other than the fact that it’s just not me, folks) is that a “Kindling Moon” only occurs at night, so wouldn’t it make more sense the the website coloring to reflect a night scene?

We still have the clean lines and we’ve custom built in a few background bits into the new theme with more to come. Of course, our campaign is going strong and gaining interest. Tell us what you think!
