Game Master 2, Player Characters 1

Filed under: Notes — Creator @ 12:14 am

So we reached the conclusion of the first adventure of our grand campaign, and the body count was a bit more staggering than anticipated. With a clever ruse to maneuver everyone below deck on a ship, a relatively medium-rank Sorcerer got the drop on the player characters, able to reveal her presence as the Vastan reached the deck. One windburst and a caved in chest later, the Vastan’s body was discovered a moment later by the over sized Merdaran, who then proceeded to throw things at the Sorcerer. A flamestrike ignited the poor fool and sent him overboard in a firey death. Only the pitiful mystic remained, and after feebly invoking a windburst of his own and tearing it asunder, the Sorcerer felt overconfident enough to allow the would-be mystic a free shot. Certain that, all alone, there was no chance of one lowly untrained mystic actually being a threat, the Sorcerer unleashed a final killing spell… and botched it. Seizing the opportunity, the lowly mystic closed quarters and unleashed a windburst at point-blank range. Looking his adversary straight in the eye a moment before she was stunned and blown back overboard, it was the lowly mystic than survived his companions… too bad he doesn’t know the first thing about sailing the ship he’s still underway on.
